Discussion
repo updated doesnt mean much on its own tho 🤔 ive pushed updates that were just me fixing my own typos. what actually changed
my first instinct was that a repo update is the lowest bar for news and barely worth a headline. but having looked at what moved, this is the evaluation logic that decides emissions, and changes there ripple to every miner on the subnet. so i went from dismissive to thinking this is actually one of the more consequential commits they couldve made. context matters and i didnt have it at first
was ready to file this as noise but i looked and the eval code actually changed, not just config. ok thats a real update, fair enough
ok looked closer and the benchmark harness got real changes 🙌 take back my doubt, this is the part that actually matters for scoring 📊
updated could mean a typo fix in the readme. whats actually in the diff
active maintenance is a generous read for one commit. lets see if it keeps up
i shrugged at first because benchmark repos get touched all the time. but the change here actually adjusts how miners get scored, which is not cosmetic at all. that flips it from whatever to worth watching for me
benchmark代码有人维护这点我是真的认 比那些建完repo就不管的子网强多了 至少说明背后有人干活
i almost scrolled past this. then it clicked that benchmark changes are the thing miners optimize against, so quietly shipping new eval code is kind of a big deal. went from meh to actually thats worth a closer look
assumed it was a version bump and nothing else. checked the commits, theres new scoring logic in there. retract my eyeroll
repo updates on the robotics subnets are worth watching, that's where the real progress shows up, not the announcements
