idk about lumping sync delays in with model validation, those are totally different problems and putting them in one digest makes it read scarier than it is. dashboard lag is infra, overfitting is the actual model. dont conflate them
本来觉得model merging就是噱头 后来看了下确实能压一压过拟合 还行 没我想的那么水 改观了一点

the dashboard sync delay is a feature, gives you time to look away before the number drops
the overfitting risk part is the real story here imo, everyone glosses past it but thats the one that actually bites validators down the line. glad someone wrote it up
eh model merging as a fix for overfitting feels backwards to me, youre just averaging two things that memorized different noise and calling it generalization. doesnt sit right
