i think the framing of feel involved is doing it a disservice honestly. the people i know who actually made money treated it like a job, tracked everything, sized positions, took profit on a schedule. the ones paying gas to feel involved are the ones who treat it as a hobby. those are two different activities that happen to share a chart. so the answer is yes some people make money, but probably not the ones asking the question this way, no offense meant
