i love that we have reached the stage where we measure realness of throughput like its a philosophical question. is the request real if no one is there to pay for it. anyway yeah i ran a batch job on apex last week and it actually finished, which is more than i can say for half the things i try

apex throughput is mostly the incentive treadmill. cut emissions and watch it. dont let one clean test fool you

the latency looks fine until you hit a busy window. tried it at peak and it got choppy. real workload would notice

been running apex daily for two weeks and its solid for me 🔥 real job, real output, no complaints 💪 give it a shot

i was skeptical of Apex too at first, assumed it was another emissions farm. but i routed a small real workload through it for a few days and it held up better than i expected. changed my read a bit. not all the way sold but its not nothing

i wrote apex off in march. retried last week and the consistency is way up. not what i remembered. worth another look

this is the right question and i wish more people asked it. the thing about apex specifically is that the incentivized traffic and the organic traffic share the same lanes, so even your real requests benefit from or get crowded by the farmed ones. so the honest answer is you cant fully separate them from the outside. did you try measuring at a low emission window to isolate it?

what region were you testing from. apex feels very different depending where the miners are that hour
