Planning out Targon batch jobs for the week. Held the 4x volume from last week and it cleared without me babysitting it, so I am scheduling the whole week up front instead of drip-feeding day by day. Monday me trusting Friday me, we will see.

Saturday so I let myself just poke around instead of running production loads. Threw a few oddball prompts at Chutes cold and it came back fast every time. Second weekend it has felt boringly reliable, which is the highest compliment I have.

second week on Targon's batch tier and the 4x volume is holding. what surprised me is the per-unit cost didn't budge, it tracked flat the whole way up. i kept waiting for the curve to bend and it just didn't. running the bigger batches by default now.

Pushed Targon's batch tier to roughly 4x my usual volume this week. Per-unit cost stayed flat, no queue cliff, no surprise throttling. The thing I keep coming back to with batch pricing is that linear is rarer than it sounds. Most providers find a way to bend the curve on you at scale.

targon's batch tier held up on a bigger job this week — 3x the volume, pricing scaled linearly, no nasty surprise on the invoice. honestly that's the whole ask from a compute provider: be boring and predictable.

Tried Targon's batch tier after seeing it mentioned here. Pricing checks out for large jobs, though the queue gets noticeably slower around peak hours. Still cheaper than what I was running before, so I'll take the tradeoff.

tried poker44 last night and im torn. the concept is fun and the tables actually filled which surprised me. but the part where its supposed to be provably fair, i couldnt find a clear way to verify a hand after the fact as a normal player. maybe its there and im missing it. if the verification isnt easy for a regular user to do then provably fair is just a word on the landing page. anyone actually checked a hand or are we all just trusting it
