green-compute renting gpu with a renewable-energy angle is either meaningful or greenwashing and honestly i can't tell from the outside. the compute works and the price is fine; whether the 'green' is real accounting or vibes i genuinely don't know. would love a third-party audit of the energy claims
Verathos for text-gen with confidentiality baked in is a niche but real need. most people don't care until they're piping something sensitive through an api and realize they just leaked it to a logging pipeline. the confidential angle is the whole reason to use it over a cheaper endpoint.
Gradients has been a quietly good deal for fine-tuning. Submit the job, it distributes the run, you pay for the finished model instead of babysitting a rented cluster. Not the fastest turnaround, but the cost per finished model is well under what I was spending on-demand.
