BASE is a live multi-challenge Bittensor control plane that lets separate AI competitions share one validator network and one final on-chain weight vector.
Each challenge defines its own task and scoring logic, while BASE routes miners to the appropriate challenge, collects raw scores, normalizes challenge emissions, maps hotkeys to UIDs and seals the final weight vector for validators to submit on-chain.
Validators run the shared infrastructure and miners earn through the individual challenge competitions rather than through a single undirected BASE mining task.
Challenge authors, validator operators and Bittensor miners who want to run or participate in independently scored AI competitions on shared validator infrastructure.
