good thread. i used to think the moat was purely the token incentive but ive shifted. the durable part is the validator network and the data flywheel it produces over time. compute you can rent anywhere, a battle tested scoring layer you cant

real answer for some of these subnets is the moat is that nobody else wants to build the same thing yet 😅 which counts until it doesnt. but seriously the incentive design point is the strongest one in here

genuine q, name one subnet where you couldnt replicate the whole thing with a weekend and a credit card. ill wait

but counterpoint to my own self lol, half these subnets have scoring thats easily gamed so the moat is only as deep as the validators are honest. some of them are NOT 😤

这个问题问得挺好的 我自己琢磨了挺久 觉得真正的护城河不是单一的东西 而是激励设计加上长期沉淀的validator信誉一起作用 单看compute确实没壁垒 但你要复制一整套经过验证的scoring和那批盯着作弊的validator 这个时间成本是绕不过去的 想问下大家觉得这个信誉是可迁移的吗 还是换个subnet就归零
