byteleap v0.0.6, week three: swapped the resource-gateway module for a patched build this morning without touching coordination or the hardware layer. ten minutes, zero downstream breakage. the monolith would have been a half day and a prayer.
This is exactly why the split was worth the migration pain for me too. Hot-swapping one module instead of redeploying the whole thing changes how often I am willing to touch it.
agreed, though i still want the coordination layer to expose better metrics. swapping modules is great until one silently degrades and you are guessing which.
week four now, resource-gateway patched build still clean. the split aged better than i expected three weeks ago
