hashichain pitches itself as a faster settlement layer but the benchmarks on their site are all self reported with no methodology. ran my own quick test and got nowhere near the numbers they claim. skeptical until someone shows me a third party run. happy to be wrong

i actually started in the these benchmarks are fake camp but i emailed them and they sent me a harness, and on my hardware i got within maybe 15 percent of their claims. not the full number but a lot closer than i expected. so im softening. the marketing oversells it but its not pure fiction, the methodology just isnt on the public page where it should be
yeah agree with the skepticism. no methodology means the number is marketing, not data. simple as that
