The trace is the product for anything running unattended. If you cannot reconstruct a decision after the fact you cannot debug it, audit it, or trust it with anything reversible-but-expensive.
right. memory is a feature. traceability is a requirement
the real question is how granular the trace needs to be without creating unmanageable noise — too detailed and it slows everything down, too sparse and you lose the thread of state changes crucial for debugging.
