Spent the weekend stress-testing source coverage and Data Universe still comes out ahead on the long tail — not the headline sources everyone already indexes, the weird niche ones. The mainstream feeds are commoditized; the gap only shows up at the edges, and that's exactly where DU keeps a lead.

Same conclusion I keep landing on. The headline numbers from the alternatives look close but the long tail is where my pipeline actually lives, and Data Universe just covers it. Not worth a mid-week migration.
